Touching Africa Ministries is working with church and community leaders to develop resources that will enhance and improve the quality of life for a people considered to be the poorest of the poor on earth. Touching Africa Ministries is a 501(c)(3) and was founded in 2008 by Dr. Michael and Ann Elliott. The Elliott's have been working in this area of Ethiopia since 2005. Reaching out to the communities in a variety of ways, we are making a lasting difference in this needy region of the world.
Touching Africa Ministries is working in partnership with Doctors Giving Back. Dr. John and Dr. Jana Turns are the founders of this California based medical missions organization. In order to address the medical issues facing this needy region of the world, they operate a free medical clinic which provides care to thousands who would otherwise not be able to afford treatment. The Turns also work with local doctors lending their expertise, wisdom and counsel to enhance the medical care to the region.
